Church Services

We aim to offer opportunities to worship, both contemporary and traditional which suit all ages.

Daily Prayer is a quiet said service of readings, psalms and prayers held at 8.30am on most weekday mornings at St Mary’s, Cheveley.

Holy Communion at 8.00am is a quiet said service using Book of Common Prayer – offered  at Kirtling on the 1st and 3rd Sundays and at Ashley on the 2nd Sunday of each month

The Parish Eucharist at 9.30am is usually a Common Worship Communion with hymns and a sermon offered at Cheveley on the 1st and 3rd Sundays,  at Woodditton on the 2nd Sunday and at Kirtling on the 4th Sunday of each month.

Morning Prayer is a traditional service of hymns, readings, and prayers, held only at All Saints, Kirtling on the 2nd Sunday of the month.

All Age Praise is a lively service at Woodditton with contemporary music and modern Anglican liturgy, with a band and using a projector. Families with children are very welcome.

The All Age Service at Cheveley and Ashley is an informal and accessible service for children and adults to enjoy, followed by refreshments. Separate activities for children are provided during part of the service.

The Reflective Service is an evening service with meditations, quiet music and prayers held monthly at St Mary’s, Ashley

The Midweek Praise and Prayer Service is an uplifting collage of modern music and quiet prayer, followed by supper – held monthly at St Mary’s, Woodditton
