For Children & Young People
We aim to provide enjoyable opportunities for children and
young people of all ages to share in the life of the church.
The Ark
The Ark is our twice monthly service for children aged 0 - 4 and their
carers. It meets on 1st and 3rd Fridays, 2-2.45pm in St. Marys, Cheveley
with songs, crafts, story, and prayer. (Contact Sarah Douglas 01638-

All Age Services
We have family services at St Mary’s Ashley , with a story,
songs and childrens activities. There are also lively All Age services at
St Mary’s Cheveley twice a month where the children are involved in all
the worship but also have a separate time in their room to respond to the
theme, whilst the adults have a talk and a quiet refl ection. All our all age
services are followed by refreshments. All Age Praise and the All Age
communions at St Mary’s, Woodditton are also family friendly and they
now have a separate meeting area for children’s activities.
Youth Group
We now have a group for teenagers which meets once a month, for
discussions, etc. on Sunday mornings alternating between Cheveley
and Woodditton. We hope it will give our young people their own time,
to explore & encourage their faith, and hopefully encourage youth in
the partnership who may not come to any of the services at present.

Church and School
Cheveley Church of England Primary School is our Church School,and we value
the links we have with the school community – through regular assemblies, class involvement, church visits etc., through our Foundation Governors, and in other ways. At least once each term the school comes to St. Mary’s for a school service, to which all are invited.(www.cheveley.cambs.sch.uk)
